At Kali-Katz, all of our kittens are raised underfoot in the home. After birth
the mom and kittens are isolated into their own cage with mom being able to
come and go as she pleases.
Once the kittens are ready to be weaned their area is extended to the whole
room where food bowls and litter trays are placed. Forest Cats learn to eat solids
and use litter trays very quickly. As they grow the area is gradually
increased to take in the whole house.
We also teach our kittens to play in the bath and to walk on a lead in the
garden.
Kali-Katz kittens are only allowed to leave home at the age of 3 months and are
all dewormed and vaccinated for the following before they leave us: Rabies,
Calici Virus, Panleukopaenia and Rhinotracheitis. Our cats are all FIV and FelV
Negative and all kittens are guaranteed healthy at the time of sale.
We have a Contract of Sale which safeguards the Buyer.
